The Department of Communities & Justice was formed in July 2019due to a merger of twoformer agencies into a single NSW Government agency comprising 27,500 employees. With multiple, poorly integrated systems, the new Agency needed to modernise aspects of its HR processes and systems, including the consolidation of two SuccessFactors environments by merging the configuration into a single system. Sue and Kevin from DCJ will discuss the challenges and successes of this complex project and how they met the organisational needs through the improvement of hiring and other HR processes, increased productivity and reporting. They will also give insights into their overall focus of integrating this system with a whole of NSW Government ERP deployment which has customer and user experience as one of its central aims.
11:20 am
SAP and Microsoft have partnered to bring customers innovative solutions to the ERP space for the past 25 years. Since the Embrace signing in October 2019 the two organisations have worked even more closely to bring together both world leading ecosystems, SAP and Azure. This presentation will walk through several examples where Australian System Integrators and partners have worked together with SAP and Microsoft to develop solutions in a joint hackathon; creating innovation and demonstrating SAP on Azure's capability as a truly powerful digital platform.

Even before COVID-19 disrupted global supply chains, Coca Cola Amatil (CCA) needed to transform its supply chain to better and more quickly meet changing demand in real time. This session will take you through CCA’s journey to date in implementing a SAP Transport Management System and will provide learnings from implementing across multiple sites in Indonesia, as well as the current status on the complex Package Building and Route Planning solution that Amatil+ have developed in their Co-Innovation with SAP”

12:00 pm
Mergers, divestments and acquisitions can help organisations propel growth while offering the opportunity to optimise and streamline processes but with the consolidation comes complexity. The success of the transition increasingly depends on early IT integration. IT infrastructure, data and processes must be brought together and adapted to the new business models as quickly and effectively as possible, while also ensuring interruption to business-critical systems is kept to a minimum. But how should these IT structures be transferred? Which data must be migrated, and what historical data should be archived? Are there manual configurations or manual identification customisations that have been imported into the legacy system? In this session DXC Technology in partnership with SNP will articulate the challenges of manual consolidation and demonstrate how they have aligned automation tools, resources and experience to help safely guide organisations through system transitions with all relevant historical data migrated and 100% the same configuration, customisations and integrations, achieved in 75% less time than conventional time frames for post-merger project integrations.
12:20 pm
The COVID-19 crisis severely disrupted global supply chains, leading to shortages of essential supplies and companies looking for alternative supply sources while others pivoted to produce and supply new products. Our globally renowned experts Baber Farooq & Gordon Donovan will look at the key trends in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, what are the implications for organisations and what this could mean for your strategy in 2021 and beyond.

When building a large UI5 app it is only a matter of time before the code becomes so complex that it becomes difficult to make changes. Splitting your app into multiple small components reduces complexity and coupling between the various parts of your app. Recent enhancements to the UI5 Router enable cross component routing and nesting of components inside other components. In this session we will look at a sample app composed of multiple components and dive into the code that makes it all possible.

In particular we will look at:

Although there has been a lot of publicity around the ATO’s guidance and changes regarding Justified trust and indirect tax reporting – the extent of them is often underestimated or misunderstood. This is potentially leaving Australia’s largest companies open to substantial risk and disruption as they fail to adequately prepare ahead of random audits, system walk throughs and data testing the ATO will carry out. What is your level of confidence in the systems you currently have in place and process optimisation to provide satisfactory objective reporting on indirect tax? The good news is that this change is achievable. Join SAP and PWC as they discuss the path forward for Australian companies and how they can best prepare.
2:50 pm
Since the inception of Management Information Systems (MIS), then Business Intelligence (BI) and now Analytics we have always been on a quest for a solution that would offer us immediate actionable insight. To date we’ve failed to achieve this with our Analytics solutions as they have very much been a rear-view mirror look of our business and in the vast majority of customers a completely separate department to the core systems. In this live demo driven session come and witness how SAP have managed to integrate SAC with S/4HANA using embedded analytics so that you can now leverage live actionable insights from within your core SAP System.
3:30 pm
Join us for a hands-on session which will look at the Cloud Application Programming Model, commonly called CAP, and how it can be used to quickly build CDS based Fiori and Fiori elements applications. We will cover:

·  How to add annotations for a Fiori Elements application
·  How to create and run integration test
